There have been men and women alike
All players, convincing you the lies
They are the actors ruling their world called stage
Romantic, drama, action, comedy and rage
With equal ease play everything they are not
Illusionist, fakers, playing with our thoughts
Besides grabbing those Oscars and prestigious awards
The charmers also find a way into your heart
One of those, a rare bunch that stands apart
For their talent and prowess in this field of art
Is the late actor Heath Ledger, god rest his soul
Patrick Verona, fell in love with the character of his very role
The Australian, just eighteen year old then
Showed promises that he could surely attain
The Patriot, Dylan, Casanova and Brothers Grimm
Were some of the works that explored him
With Brokeback Mountain he scaled new heights
And the Joker was his role of lifetime
Lifetime indeed, as..
Accidental medication, claimed his life untimely
His last work thus is the Parnassus fantasy
He’ll be always remembered by fans like me
For bringing to life the characters that in real can never be.
