Most intriguing is ones mind

Travels faster than light!

Chooses its wrongs

And believes its rights

Questions and doubts are its favourite child

Once calm as a sea, can go all wild like the tide

Knows not whether to rule over or benevolently abide

Fights an eternal battle with the heart

Curious database with logical rhymes

Yet again imagination, fancies have all here a start

Good, weird, wicked, artistic...call what you may

Its one pandora’s box , very unpredictable  in every way!

Inkaar ki gunjayish hi kahaan

Jab tak daastaan-e-dil karoon na bayaan

Zanjeerein ya deewarein kya roke mujhe

Khudi se range thhe jo khatoot-e-khwaab!

Murjhaye huye khwaaabon ka gulistaan

Suna bada, pada hai viraan

Kahaan use samjha thha khuda

Miraaj paas aayi to dikha ek aam insaan

Bewafaa unhe kya kahein...

Jab wafa-e-mohabbat khud kara na izhaar

Waqt ne sunayi saza-e-maut uss khwahish ko

Jisse kabhi mila hi nahin makaanm

Kisi manzil se kyun baandhe dor khwahishon ki?

Kyun chale peeche chhoote raahon par

Nayi raaston ke talaash mein hai nigaahein ab

Mil jaaye Khuda to jahaan ho ikhtiyaar-e-roshan
