Apne ghamon ka kabhi mehfil na sajaaya
To nachizon ko khush-qismat rangeen lage
Apni kahaani musafiron ko na bataya
To raaste humesha chiraag-a-bahaar lage
Humne bhi din aur sham k dariya se hokar guzra hain
Raaste phir bhi sabhi ko gulzar-a-tabassum lage
With joyful colors have painted the veil
Curtaining the tinted shades of time
Stories of hope to pen
Never the tears to rhyme
Such an imagery of life
That bed of roses is where I "lie"
