She had to give up her only dream song

Although she had waited a decade long

She loved him enough to let him go

About her feelings now he’ll never know

The story began when she fell for him

And thought he would too, just like in her dream

But teenage crushes and dreams you know,

Are never ever meant to become true

But she fooled herself and was blinded by love

Wished good Lord would do some magic from above

Magic indeed was getting a second chance

And this time she was sure she’ll have her first dance

Her favorite song played and she walked to the door

He was waltzing with his girl on the dance floor

She closed the doors and turned her back

Her tears said it.. what in words she lacked

Love and Life, never is easy ride

Some win, some lose and some have rules to abide

But in love, even loss is a sweet prize

Even though it hurts, I am glad you are happy with your love on your side.

A happy soul, who dreams beyond

All the reality called life

Makes her rules, sticks to them

Always wearing her sunny smile

Sound and words loves them both

Can make them do a rhyme

Music and colors, she searches everywhere

They inspire her every time

She is as weak, as she is strong

She is all good and bad

But whatever she is, she is herself

Tries to find happiness even in times called sad

Yes! Exactly that’s how she is

And I love being all that!!

Is this what I was supposed to?

Suddenly I am a misfit and then I am not

Is this what I dreamt of?

May be yes, may be no

Is this what I planned to become?

Change can be bad and good, you never know

Is this what I wanna live for now?

Am I that dedicated or should I bow

Is this what the divine blessed me with?

Feeling lucky, but responsibilities scare

What am I doing here?

Why don’t I escape there?

I sometimes don’t know

The pressure is high, the prize is good

Yet I am so very confused!

No! I can’t fall out now

Need the headstrong side of me

To wake up from fairytale themes

And no more escaping it

Gotta live life more realistically!

It was a molecular and chemical event

Where for the first time the egg and sperm met

They developed a bond very strong

Then a fresh new embryo was made

Over time and blastulations

It turned into a fetus of cells

The tissues and organs gradually formed

With the chromosomes determining its genetic fate

In this story there was no chromosome "Y"

It was a double X fetus, a female child

The story could have continued with chapters more

But some morons stopped it at this juncture here

They dont care! The illiterate ones

They can't hear a little heart beat in there

How else could these ruthless psychopaths..

Forget that they were born of a female mother's care?

After a long day of an usual life

The night lullabies you to sleep

And although you rest your flesh and blood

The mind may not be at peace

Physically you lay still and free

But mentally occupied in thoughts

Reflect on the day gone by

Smiling at gains or reminiscing the loss

Then walks in through the doors

Reasons, songs or some poetic rhymes

You keep them to yourself in your mind

The nocturnal creative psyche

Heaps of stuff thus gets stored in there

Some other nights you may again rewind

But when does the sleep overtake?

And when chronicles of dream unwind?

The mystery is yet unsolved to me

As it is…. Dawn already? My wake up time!
