Supernova

Supernova

Precious, pristine and pure
Our bond le amour
We waited, we yearned
Now eternally bound
Vows and oaths are mere words
Rituals, traditions and customs
We are together for reasons beyond
Our love and trust, above all
Happy, elated and blessed
By the people who matter more than rest
My love, my supernova
Its an immense joy
To be approvingly yours
To each other we belong!

Heart or the Mind

Heart or the Mind

To be right, to be wrong
To stop or walk along
An “yes” or a “no”
Nothing to much ado
To think or act
Faith or the facts
Whats myth isn’t real
Real isn’t clear
Time is the constant
Life is not
Moments are here and now
To be headstrong or bow
Choices are defined
The heart or the mind?

STAGNANT

Not to, neither fro
Feet stuck in quicksand
Down, down, down below
Sinking like the tempest struck cargo
High, high, high above
Black clouds blanket upon
Huff, puff, panting fast
Heart beats loud and clear
Sniff, sniff, tears roll
Last cry, a painful pierce
Dreams crumble and crash
Every effort dumped to trash
Away, away, away you run
Things done cannot be undone
Near, near, very near I see
My loneliness engulfing me
Back, back, back again,
In the warps of emptiness
Silence encroaches in void end

DESTINED

DESTINED
"Zehnaseeb" Lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya

English Translation

Thou art my life, to you i am destined and bound
For you i care with feelings abound
In my heart you reside, you are the love newfound
For you i care with feelings abound
Every moment with you is my precious prize
Times away from you is a sad struggle and stride
Together we are by some mysterious chimes!
Heartily pauper by this royal fate divine
No wordly plea, only you are my dreams
In your eyes, our abode i see
A slice of smile, or a drop of tear...
Come what may, we both will share
A wilful choice, our fate divine
A cupid’s play without reason or rhyme
Against all odds, its turned into a sweet amorous wine

Persephone

Persephone

In the cold and dark depths of the hell
The queen bequeathed by her consort Hades
His love she is, but she knows no joy
Twinkle in his eyes, but she still searches the light
The greens, the flowers, the birds that flew
Where art thou mother? Wheres the land I knew?
Parted away from her earth by the frozen Styx
She has been praying for a return since eons, months and weeks
Her hopes and dreams are like the flickering flames
A burning soul fuelled by her strong will
Her laments and yearns never melt his heart
His care and want she can never understand
Both are bound but can never comprehend
Each other the way they could have had
Expectations are the babel tower
With selfish own desires,
They had become blind to each other
But every puzzle has a solution
In Winters, Hades had his queen,
While all Summer, she enjoyed her freedom
