If something i have to unwillingly do
Is to bid sweet farewell to you
Looking back, down the lanes of time
I take a trip and rewind
All the good things and bad
You cheered me up or made me sad
Head or tail, its the same coin
Near or far, thither or adjoin
Afresh second quarter
of my life
Lived, laughed and embraced all strife
Places, faces met all new
Fell in love, lost and be-friended a few
Not that i have regrets to hold
Rather chose the memoirs embossed in gold
Lessons learnt and taught as well
To smile and laugh when everything fails
Battles won or not...
Doesnt matter if u’ve nothing that could be lost
Finally hereby i wave
a goodbye
To another milestone year 2012, as it passes by
