A New Green

This one i've based on the optimistic belief.."theres always a new hope!!"

A NEW GREEN

A young new leaf grew on the tree
Fresh with life, it was gleaming green
Like the color of hope, it was born with
His dreams in its eyes he had indeed.
The tree was proud of this new young
Great expectations he had from this one!
"He'll grow and trap the sunniest light
Reach with its stem the highest height"
But..the leaf was just born
So young, about the world still unknown
Yet to feel his very first morning dew
To reach out to the sky, still so far from its view
It was spring when he met the chirpy tweety
Summer was gone, in came season rainy
The raindrops, it liked to play with
And there was the tweety to sing to it
The innocence he had what everybody liked
And the leaf was happy with no rules to abide
But then the young leaf had eventually to grow
Responsibilities, expectations and too much of rules to follow
When the winds blew hard he had to be strong
When the humming would sing, he would dance along
In all his growing years he had never realised
That one day he'd have to face the harsh realities of life
The winds had taught him how to bow
The tweeties and pixies shared his joy and sorrow
With age, innocence was lost alongwith its freespirit
Rules and lines had already weakened it
Then one dry autumn day, the air blew so very strong
The leaf now fragile and weak, could'nt anymore hold on..
It fell off from its tree onto the ground
Lost with such others, somewhere around
But everyday the tree still grows
With all new green that in sunlight glows
The tree has found another fresh new hope
That dances to chirps and to wind it bows!!
